    They assisted with the acquisition of an Enterprise grade SAS drive, and the fact that Candice, the sales representative I worked with, was pleasant, professional and understood the critical deadline which I was working under. She assisted in making an unusual expedited purchase, with less than a three hour turnaround from purchase to acquisition. It was by far the best service out of any vendor I had ever seen, and I suspect will ever see.

    Was reasonable with my requests and provided the rapid turnaround required for the urgent request. Provided as much assistance as I required, in the time frames I required. None.

    I purchased through this online site after much consideration, a Canon 50D Body on April 29, 2010. What changed my mind about this online shop is that it’s based in NSW and that they have an ABN and an ACN. While I have no problem with products coming from HK as almost everything that I have purchased online for past so many years are from HK, it was a big mistake purchasing from this online shop. When I was about to register the camera for an extended 5-year warranty I noticed something odd, the sticker on the body with the serial number is starting to come off. This made me suspicious so I compared it to my other Canon camera that I purchased from Georges Camera in Sydney and found out some irregularities. The sticker is a lot different on the Canon 50D. The symbols on the sticker are different and the writings are flat and not raised on the 50D. Also, the 450D has a 10 digit serial number while the 50D only has 7. I investigated and found out that all Canon DSLR’s have a 10-digit serial number on the body regardless of the model. Also, the same 10-digit number can be found in all the photos you take with the camera that can be viewed in the Exif data of each photo. True enough when I checked it out, the Exif data of my photos have a 10-digit serial number. I rang Canon Australia and they verified that all Canon DSLR’s have 10-digit serial numbers and that this is the same in the Exif data. I informed Quickshop and sent them an email with my findings complete with photos and screen dumps of the Exif data. I spoke to Greg. I think he’s a partner of the company. This was just last Monday May 17. The day after they emailed me and told me that I can either have refund or they will send me a replacement. No explanations at all as to why they sent me refurbished 50d while they advertised it as new. I had to ring and ask Greg why this happened. He just told me that it’s the fault of their warehouse in HK. Greg assured me that once he gets the camera back I will get my refund credited back to my account. I sent the camera against the advise of my workmate. She reckons I should have the money back first before I send back the refurbished camera. A courier picked up the camera and all he gave me was a small barcode on Wed. I even emailed Greg to tell him that the camera was picked up. I rang him the following day to ask if he received the camera at 11am. He said he just got it and just give him 30 mins and that I’ll get my money back. At 3:30 I rang him and his staff told me that he’s in a meeting. I sent him an email following up the money. Then I get an email response saying that I will get my refund in “due course”. The day before he told me that I would get it as soon as I return the camera. I rang immediately and a girl told me he’s left for the day. But sometimes he comes back. I even asked the girl what time they close and she told me that they close at 5:30. I was so scared at this time as they already have the refurbished camera and all I got was a strip of bar code. I also did not get an email response asking him why suddenly the refund will take longer when he assured me before it was instant. I rang at around 4:30 and spoke to a staff named Mitchell. I asked him if I could speak to Greg. He came back on the phone after a few mins and told me that Greg said I will get my refund in due course and to stop ringing them. I couldn’t believe what I heard. I told him that he can’t tell his customers not to ring them. I even asked if he’s telling me that or if Greg told him that to tell me. He said “Greg pretty much told me to tell you to stop ringing us and you’ll get your money back”. I told him to tell Greg to ring me at 9 am tomorrow or I will report you to Fair Trading. I think that did it. Less than 10 mins after I get an email from Greg saying that he money has been refunded to my account and that he doesn’t understand what my frustration is about. I will not bother dealing with this dodgy people. I also did not bother reporting them to Fair Trading as I don’t want to waste my time anymore. These people are scums of the earth. They try to pass off their products as NEW whereas they are really selling refurbished goods. What’s worse is that they blame people from HK. I bet they know all about it. Who knows how many people have bought from them not knowing they are holding on to refurbished items. Spread the word. Don’t buy from these scums. If you want proof message me and I will send you photos of the alleged NEW Canon 50d. My money has been refunded to my credit card account. But the stress I received from dealing with this company and trying to get my money back won’t even pay for medication for the brain cells that I damaged talking to these unprofessional scums.

    NOTHING! Check the item you bought from them. They might be fake or refurbished! BEWARE! DODGY! Sold me a REFURBISHED CANON 50D but advertised as NEW

    I would like to commend Quickshop for their services. I ordered a video camera for over AU$4500. Of course initially I was not comfortable, however reading reviews and comments on different shopping sites, I felt confident. I ordered my camera on 30th of March and despite easter break, I received it today on 7th of April. I called the store on the 6th to find out since there were no changes in the status of my order and the gentleman I spoke with very politely told me that the hold up might be due to easter break. shortly, I received an email that my camera had picked up from warehouse, I checked FedEx tracking system and to my surprise, it was already in Melbourne. Once my payment was cleared the next day, they must have shipped it out right before easter holidays. To me this is a great service by any standard. Thank you Quickshop. I will definitely come back later to buy from Quickshop.

    My second purchase with Quick shop and can only thank the crew for follow up. My first purchase was Tameron lens shipped out of Hong Kong with international post and tracking number arriving perfect condition. Have now order a Nikon Camera body. Quick shop staff are friendly, well trained & very efficient would recommend there service to any prospective purchaser.

    I recently purchased my second $2000 lens from Quickshop. Like everyone I was nervous spending this much through an 'invisible' shopfront but my worries were unfounded. Delivery was 7 days on the first and 5 days on the second including a weekend, service on the phone was brusque but efficient and friendly enough and I received a few progress emails that were reassuring. Would definitely buy again, in fact am now waiting for a much more expensive photo item and just received a "Processing at Warehouse" status email. This is my favourite on-line shop by a long way.

    BEST price, very fast, efficient, and they answer the phone. The progress emails vary from one purchase to another. Two phone messages seemed to get lost.

    I was nervous buying an expensive lens ($1200) from a dealer without a store front. However the price difference was significant so I took the plunge. My experience was very good. It arrived from HK (to Melbourne) in only 4 days, fedex ed to my door. No problems. Communication was good, tracking gave peace of mind. I would buy this way again with confidence.

    price was excellent delivery was very fast communication was good exceeded my expectations A glitch on the payment portal caused a misunderstanding but it was quickly rectified by email with a great outcome.

    I decided to take a huge gamble & purchase a Nikon D700. After 6 days sweating it out it arrived safely in perfect condition from Hong Kong. The emails & tracking website were great which put my mind at ease. The only thing that I would've liked - a hardcopy manual instead of a CD, as I always carry the manuals in my camera case. Thanks again for a realiable transactions & great camera - will definitely purchase through this company again.

    A friend originally recommends Quickshop to me. I bought a Nikkor AF 70-300 G lens from this store for its competitive price. I got the lens less than 7 days after placing the order and I'm very happy with it. I'm surprised someone said the store owner didn't reply or answer phone calls. Karlee Evans replied to all my inquiring emails within 24 hours.

    As I was looking for an expensive camera I came across Quickshop as they had a very good price for it and also a telephone number for contact. I started reading about them in some forums and found out that the company had some problems last year and that there was a lot of complaints of goods not sent. The prior owner went broke and sold the company to the existing owners, who right away returned all the money to everyone and from then on continued to operate successfully. So I said I will give it a go. I contacted them and Karlee their manager answered all my prior questions extensively and so I clicked the buy button. I must say the what happened after that was astonishing !!!! . I purchased the goods on Wednesday and I received them from overseas via Fedex on Friday, yes two days between order and delivery from overseas, amazing !!! Congratulations Quickshop and Karlee for your amazing personal service and woossshhh delivery, and for reinstating my trust in some online retailers. Victor

    I was surprised when i recieved a call the day after i placed my order, asking me to confirm my identity by giving them my credit card number again, this time over the phone. Didn't know what to expect, and wondered if i would receive my lens or just get charged for it. Happy to say the lens arrived 7 days after i placed my order, having been shipping from hong kong. The product was great, much cheaper than elsewhere, all paperwork and warranty included.
